This restaurant has awesome views of the harbor and good food. The menu is a little heavy on fried food but it's all very good. The service is friendly and fast. They have some really great dessert options with locally grown rhubarb. Definitely worth a visit!

Good food and good prices but could use some sprucing up. Still a fine establishment. The severs were very nice and did not make me feel in the way even though I stayed for a while after finishing my meal.

Fun classic place on beautiful Puget Sound. Views, yummy food, quaint experience. Recommended!!!

Known as "Harbor Lips" by true locals because of the strength of their drinks, Harbor Lights is a very old restaurant on Ruston way that was acquired by the Anthony's restaurant chain.  
I appreciate that Anthony's is trying to preserve the character of Harbor Lights, but they didn't hesitate to raise the prices to Anthony's level.  They're a bit steep for what you get.  For instance - the Fried Oyster Plate is about $19 - my oysters were almost half the size of my dining companion's (so odd they would give us such different looking plates) and executed well, but a bit salty.  Fried calamari is very good but it's about $12.
Harbor Lights needs to join the millennium just a little bit.  I am highly for older bars & restaurants, but who closes a bar at 9????  Harbor Lights.  I can't tell you how many times I tried to go around 10 only to find it pitch black.  Odd.

This place is absolutely awesome. If you live in Tacoma and haven't been here or 5 mile drive. What are you doing people, get out there with the kids there's a beach out on point defiance, movie theatres and shops. Public free parking as well. Get out and soak up the sun.
