I stopped by there after a last minute decision not to drive to a shop in Acton. Worked with Chad and he showed me a couple tow trailers I was interested in. He knows his stuff and he didn’t make me feel pressured. Came back with the girlfriend to show her the trailer I liked and another salesman sold it. However, the owner (Jim) was very understanding and offered to help. We are now waiting on delivery of an even better trailer and can’t wait. I won’t mention which one because it’s mine!! Lol! We are looking forward to picking it up this week when it comes in. I’ll update my review after the sale is done.

We went to Simi RV today and the salesman [Chad] showing us various Class C RVs was more than helpful and accommodating without being pushy. Furthermore, most of the RVs had the A.C. running as it was over 95° outside.  Excellent customer service!

 ((In contrast to this experience, we decided to stop by Conejo RV afterward to see what they had in their inventory and the salesman couldn't be bothered to assist us in any manner beyond informing us which RVs were unlocked for viewing. None of the RVs had a.c. running, so viewing any was nearly impossible. Upon leaving the lot the salesman was no where to be found. Very disappointing.))

We purchased a two year old Class A Motorhome from Jeff Aloia in June 2010. As a first time RV owner, I explained to Jeff that I would have some questions for him after the purchase. He reassured me that service was what Simi RV was known for and he had on many occasions travelled to Ventura to assist with newbes. On our first trip, our rig's computer indicated that our coolant was low. The computer eventually shut the engine off. We were stuck. At the side of I-10, headed for Tucson, I called Jeff. Voicemail. Left message. No return call. I called again. Same result. I called the stores main number and asked if Jeff Aloia was indeed working. Yes, he's working. Ill page him. When he finally came on the line, I asked him if his crew checked the coolant leval prior to the sale. He said,' probably '. Obviously I was not happy with their service. He also gave us a receipt for a seam in our leather couch that had come undone that said that we could bring the rig back in to have it resewn. Not too big a deal however he did not honor it sometime later stating that it was more than one year old. We, of course, are not satisfied customers. Basically, if his lips are moving, hes lying.

Simi RV is a great local RV dealer, with sales, service and an entire retail store right on the premises. The service department is busy, so book your repairs early. They have an excellent selection of travel trailers, fifth wheels and motor homes of all sizes.
