Skatell's Jewelers of Greenville, Third Generation, is Greenville's Diamond Destination. We offer over 1,000 engagement rings and over 60,000 loose Certified Diamonds. Visit our 5,000 sq ft showroom to see our large selection of designer jewelry.

Custom Design and Jewelry Repairs On-Premises

We offer an in-house design department that manufactures custom-designed pieces to your specifications. Our experienced on-site jeweler repairs all jewelry types/metals (except watches - only batteries or adjust band) on site. Your treasured pieces will never leave our location until we return them to you.

This was quite honestly the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and I run my own business. We came to this store for a diamond ring repair, and the person we tried to talk to would not stop talking. Honestly, we could not get a word in at all. My wife and I just looked at each other because she just never stopped. She did not know this at first, but I have some past professional experience in jewelry and when some of the things she was saying didn't make any sense, I broke in and asked a few very brief questions to clarify about how the diamond would be reset in the ring. I received an abrupt response to the tone of "Well that diamond inclusion would be so small that no one would care where it is located." I said that I cared and I would like to please talk to the person who would fix it, and was asked if I was "some kind of engineer or something", which I am not. At that point I was very skeptical of a person who would not stop talking and was so disrespectful to us when she did. I started to ask another question and was cut off and told that "If I was going to be particular about a repair then I just needed to go somewhere else." We were there less than 10 minutes, were very kind, got to say almost nothing, and then were told to leave. We went to another jeweler and the process was easy and seamless. This was the worst experience, and I would never recommend Skatells. What the woman didn't realize was that I had more than $1,000 to spend on a pair of diamond earrings for my wife's upcoming birthday if the repair went well, but she could have cared less. There are much better options in town for jewelers. I would find one and save yourself the time my wife and I wasted.

My wife and I have dealt with Skatell's Jewelers for over 25 years. We have bought from other jewelry stores but our experience at Skatell's has always been pleasurable. We bought several nice watches and never once paid for a battery replacement. They made my wife's diamond ring when I upgraded it and put two trillions on either side of the center diamond. I recently took my wife's original Center diamond in which was approximately a carat and are having it set in a ring for me. Evie had several other pendants so it was just sitting in the safe. Looking forward to getting it this week. I am sure we will be pleased as always. We miss Mike who we dealt with on many occasions but Amy was professional and courteous.

Product quality and customer service are the two main factors in deciding who I will do business with. Skatell's Jewelers ranks 10 out of 10 in both. In addition, I have found their prices to be lower than their competitors. The family run company has been around for many years and the Skatell family is well respected and loved by all who have the pleasure to know them. They are solid, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and TRULY care about their customers. They are the only jeweler our family trusts with our needs from engagement rings to remaking family heirlooms to small repairs. And in this world of big boxes trying to swallow up the local good guys you are doing yourself and your community a disservice if you don't shop at Skatell's for your jewelry needs.

I recently bent some brackets on my diamond ring while doing some home repairs. Since the ring was purchased at Skatell's, I brought it to them for repair. They quickly gave me an estimate while I waited and I left the ring for repair which was estimated to be completed in a week. Two days before due date, I received a call that my ring was complete. In addition to the repairs, they cleaned and polished my ring and it looks amazing. I often bring my rings in for complementary cleanings and adjustments which they pleasantly provide. This was the first repair needed in eighteen years, and I was very pleased with the service and results!

The service at Skatell's has been phenomenal. They were willing to work with me in some unique circumstances, very friendly and helpful staff.
