Warning....Do not trust Turner’s with any repairs.  My experience with them has been a complete nightmare.  They have made not one but three major mistakes on my 1940s antique wedding ring set.  They were given my Lady America set to size and solder.
1.  My first pick-up I realized that my set had been soldered upside down.  My set has “Lady America” engraved on the inside next to the 14K.  When I put the wedding band on closest to my heart, the engraving was upside down.  I was going to get a second opinion because Turners told my husband that if they fixed it the ring may be compromised.
2.  I took my ring off to move a washer 3 weeks after it was soldered.  I did not want to damage it.  After moving the washer, I picked it back up, recognized in horror that the solder was severely compromised, and the engagement ring was about to break.  The entire ring had shifted, and the engagement ring was now an oval shape.  Just taking the ring off caused the shank to stretch and thin to the point of almost completely severing it from the band. 
3.  I reluctantly returned it to be repaired after being reassured by my mother in law (who has done business there for many years) that they would make it right.  I went to pick it up and once again discovered that they did not fix it.  It was not round.  One side was squished together and the other side had a huge gap in the front where the diamonds from both rings touch. The shank on the back was thinned out.   My husband asked them to please fix it as I had to walk out at that point because I was so upset.  Mr. Turner took my ring into the back room where the jeweler tried to make it round.  Mr. Turner gave it back to my husband and it still was not right.  Two more times my husband asked them to fix it, and each time Mr. Turner walked back to give it to the jeweler to fix it.  My husband eventually had to walk out without any resolution.  Not even a refund.  Needless to say my set will never be the same.  I am beyond devastated.  The whole situation makes me ill.

I recently took it to Hales.  I was given a quote of $800 to $1000 to repair some of the damage, but was told it would never be the same.  We bought the set for $800, and I was ecstatic to wear an antique ring that had history.  Now it sits in my drawer because we are unable to afford to get it repaired.  I will be reporting this incident to the BBB.

Had a beyond great experience here. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by everyone, had friendly chats with the employees - even when I was clearly just looking. Then while purchasing my ring the lovely lady that helped me was so kind. Great service and kind staff, hope to buy again soon.
