Staff and doctors are very nice. I came in and it took 20 to 30 for me to be called back and put in a room. I appreciate the quickness and the communication. Everyone has a good attitude and they care about making me feel better. Way better then Banner at this point.

The nurses and doctor in the ER were wonderful!  My son has a severe peanut allergy and ingested one on accident and broke out in hives all over by the time we made it to the ER.  They got us in right away and teamed up efficiently to give him quick service and took amazing care of him.  Thanks so much!!!

On the first day of vacation I ended up here at 2:00 am. Got me right in and discovered I would be having my appendix removed.   Whole process was very professional. I ended up being there for 4 days.  During the recovery process the nurses were All EXCELLENT

I came in today at 3pm for a very some painful ear pain  it took 2 hrs for a doctor to see me after he checked my ears and I let him know what was hurting then he left. The doctor told he was gonna come back with a doctors note, a prescription and a cup to collect my urine.  My husband and I waited for another long hour . We then notified  a nurse how long we’ve been waiting and she didn’t even know we’re waiting for the doctor to come back in and that he had not yet took a urine sample. She then gave me a cup to pee in (that whole time we’re waiting for nothing) and now we’re waiting another hour just for pee result. We are currently still waiting and it’s almost 8pm . Never again will I come back to this hospital , it’s called an emergency room for a reason right?!?! (Update) we had to go to the nurses desk 3 times just for someone to come to my room and a couple of them had very snobbish attitudes. The doctor finally came in my room with my results and to let me know I was being discharged. He then said he would let the nurse know to print them right out and he’d be right back...we waited another 45 mins! Just got someone else to come in and give me the discharge papers. Y’all be quick to come in the room with those carts to take information for billing and insurance. I know my problem wasn’t that serious ,but come on y’all TIME MANAGEMENT!!!

We arrived to an empty waiting room. Getting in to be seen wasn't too long but after that it was sitting in a room to be ignored. My son asked what was wrong they said the doctor would be in to talk to him about his injury. The doctor came into the room and was there for 60 seconds, half of that time he spent on the phone talking to someone else and then walked out. My son asked again what was wrong and then when was told it was in the discharge papers. When did they stop conversing one on one with the patient? He also asked 3 times for a copy of the x-rays. They didn't provide it. The paper work said he had a sprain and then explained 3 different grades of sprain but didn't indicate which grade he had. They also gave him paperwork saying he could return to work tomorrow with said arm sprain. His entire job is carrying and moving heavy things. That is a disaster for further injury. Get your diagnosis and treatment in sync.

My son was seen by St. Joseph's in mid-November.

Update January 13th, 2018. We went to Banner Estrella the day after going to St. Joseph's. My son was finally diagnosed at Banner Estrella with a dislocated wrist. They changed the splint he was in because St. Joseph's immobilized him incorrectly and didn't support or immobilize his wrist at all. He is finally on his last 3 visits of physical therapy and only after these visits will he return to regular work duty! If we had stopped at St. Joseph's misdiagnosis my son could have injured himself further and lost more wages than he already has. As prior military and a medical professional I am deeply disappointed in St. Joseph's.
