Lowest you can give is one star otherwise this would be a zero. I booked an appointment and paid in full for a remote start install and window tint. The tint was for their level 3 tint they recommended over level 4 for better UV protection. They only do window tint Monday through Friday and you can only drop off at 9am. I had to take the day off from work to get my car dropped off during this time. After waiting most of the day I get a call around 445pm and they tell me that the remote start is done but they will not be able to do the window tint. They want me to bring it back another day to do the tint and offer me an upgrade from level 3 to level 4 tint. This is only a $50 upgrade and it goes against what they recommended so why would I want that. Just had them refund my money for the tint and I will find better service elsewhere. Remote start works fine but still a wasted day off since that can be installed on the Weekend and the window tint that can only be done during the week did not get done. Not only did they not get the tint done but they didn't even call me 445pm to tell me there was a problem. Awful service, there are lots of other places that can do the same work I recommend using someone else.

Stereo West customer service is absolutely horrible.  Bought one of their best remote starters as a Christmas gift for my wife and when we went to pick it up after installation we got zero assistance with the product!  Darrell was apparently too busy playing on the computer to explain anything except to tell us to download an app.  Got no warranty information, no explanation on how to use or what to do.  Almost every front line employee at this store appeared too busy to care or assist customers.  Very disappointed and considering uninstalling this product and going elsewhere. 

UPDATE:
Had major issues with the remote start app because it failed to work 75-80% of the time. After seeing my negative review, the manager called me to try to fix their technical issues and failures and finally reinstalled an antenna and a new module for the remote starter and ever since then it has been working near perfect!  I still feel their store sales staff are completely ruining their reputation and do not care about customer service but I honestly feel like the manager at the Dodge St store corrected their mistake, was extremely professional, courteous, and went out of his way to make things right.  He is the only reason this ended well!  He needs to train his staff to be more like him!

Absolutely TERRIBLE. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I made an "appointment" to have my remote start installed. The appointment was scheduled for 3 weeks out because they were backed up. Understandable. I was told to drop off when they opened at 9am and that it would only take a couple hours, but that they don't do appointments throughout the day, just drop off and wait. I live an hour and a half away and had to take the day off work for this. I drop off and did my errands around Omaha. At 4pm when I still had not heard anything  so I called to check on it, they said it would be closer to 8pm when it would be finished. That's when they close. I was irritated. I hadn't planned on spending a full day away from home and was never told it would take that long. So I find more stuff to do instead of driving all the way back home and back up to Omaha. I arrive at 7:50pm to pick up my truck. Guess what, STILL NOT DONE. They tell me it will be ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF before it's finished because they had someone "call in sick" so they are behind. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It takes 12 HOURS to install a remote start? Is just ONE guy working? You have no other employees? Your this big named company that touts being the best. I lost an ENTIRE day waiting around for this thing to get done because your business practice is terrible. I don't care if someone calls in sick, thats not my problem. That is yours. And instead of treating me decently, you treated me like I knew nothing about business, that I was impatient and like I didn't matter. Never ONCE offered me a discount, sincere apology or anything. I saw THREE guys sitting behind the computers doing nothing. RIDICULOUS. I will never spend money here again and I will steer everyone away. Don't waste your money for awful service. Unless you want to sit in the parking lot for 3 hours and wait and be treated like garbage. $350 for that was NOT WORTH IT. I'll take my business elsewhere. And I will make sure others do the same.

sold us the wrong backup sensors.  the shop had already cut the holes in the bumper cover and the correct sensors were about 1/8 inch smaller and were too loose in the holes.  They would not own up to their mistake and get me a new bumper.  Now I'm out $250 on top of the garbage backup system they sold me.  At least my body shop didn't charge me to do the repairs twice.  Stereo West is a joke.
