My husband and I stayed in a cabin - Eagle's Nest  under A Quaint Place managed by Stony Brook.  We had a delightful time.   Rhonda at SB was very nice and helpful.  SB also offers perks for one person per day per each paid night of discounts at area restaurants, entertainment/shows, etc.  You should definitely check these discounts out!
 The cabin was beautiful, in a nice, secluded area away from the hustle and bustle.  It was very comfortable and the decor was very simple and homey (inviting).  The cabin offers WiFi, cable TV, hot tub, Jacuzzi,  and a gorgeous view.
Highly recommend booking through Stony Brook and the cabins under the name A Quaint Place.

We rented Mossy Brook Lodge with 4 other couples and had a fantastic time.  I was the one that found and rented the place and was nervous that I wouldn’t make everyone in our group happy.  The lodge was perfect and everyone in our group loved it!  We all had our own master bedroom suite with our own master bathroom. Between the gas firepit, hot tub, movie room, game room and gorgeous kitchen we didn’t want to leave to go site seeing.  The views from every room in the House were breathtaking.  But I must say the best part of renting this house was the personal care we received from everyone at Stony Brook. From the beginning they were all helpful, friendly and accommodating.  I was in the hospital up until the morning we left to go to Mossy Brook Lodge and everyone at Stony Brook that we had communication with would always wish me well and ask if there was anything they could do on their end to make the rental process easy.  We ended up doing everything with my cell phone as I didn’t have access to my computer and the process was quick and easy with their help.  They contacted us during our traveling wishing us a safe trip.  After arriving at the house we received an email asking if everything was to our satisfaction and if we needed anything from them giving us phone numbers to call with any issues we might encounter but everything exceeded our expectations.  I cannot say enough about the customer service they provided. We are taking another vacation to the area next summer with our children and grandchildren and for sure we will be working with Stony Brook to find a place to stay at.

Excellent website that provided very comprehensive description of each cabin including numerous photos capturing nearly every perspective of interest. The online reservation process, including finding out the cabin availability and rate information, was quick and easy, and the email and phone communication thereafter was very responsive. There was always someone there to answer the phone during business hours, and I received replies to my emails within minutes after sending them. The cabin was clean and very well maintained. I would definitely rent from Stony Brook Cabins again in the future.

Me and my husband stayed at the Blue Heron for our honeymoon. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The cabin was very clean and nice. They even left us a newlywed Bear figurine and a congratulations card signed by all the staff. We will continue to use this company. Thank you for making our honeymoon experience a wonderful one!

We stayed in the trailhead cabin and absolutely LOVED it!  The view was spectacular!  The cabin was so charming and we especially enjoyed the hot tub on the deck at the end of the day.  The location was perfect ~ away from all the touristy areas. We were more interested in a quiet vacation away from it all so it was perfect for us!  A short drive to the grocery store down the road to pick up some food for the grill and just relax on the porch and watch the ever changing mountain landscape!  Would love to come again back some day!
