The store gets better every year but it's not one of Stop and Shop's best model store. I have been to more than 9 stores in 4 states. I even been to it's sister store, Gaints. After being open for almost ten years, the Flatbush Ave Stop and Shop finally has self check out. There used to be a nature/health food aisle but this store no longer have one. The produce section has improved in the last 3 years. The employees are nicer too. If you're a patron of People's Bank, you can find it in the store.

I'm a long time shopper at stop n shop, but today was the most pleasant. It was the first time I used the self check register and it was very efficient and pleasant. I was assisted by one of the checkers at the store, and she was pleasant, patient and clear with instructing on the use of the machine.

Great selection, but the place is always packed with patrons with grocery carts packed to the brim. It makes it super annoying to wait half an hour to buy 2 small items. They have a 10 items or less line, but the same line services lottery and western union and so it takes just as long as all the other lines so it is indeed a mootpoint.

Frequently out of stock of meats. Not always clean. Crowded. Long lines. They just got self checkout which is great. Staff could try to smile more. Some are great. Some hate their job. Oh and their bags and products carry moth larvae

My favorite place to shop. Great everyday deals and prices. Customer service can be better. Fresh produce and meats along with the best in store bakery. Banking services, coin machine, bottle redemption, deli, Redbox and western union services. It definitely a one stop shop.
