Story

Stow Glass Co. was founded in 1983 by David Carano Sr. in a small warehouse space on Hudson Drive. With the help of his son, David Jr., the business grew and first moved to Omni Plaza on Darrow Rd., and finally to it’s current location which was formerly the telephone company building.

Twenty nine years later, Stow Glass Co. is still a family business, now owned by David Jr. We are known for our family-business-style customer service! Just call and ask for Dave!

The shower door we selected was based solely on its orientation for mounting on our new shower, which required the door to be on the right side. This was was discussed with and recommended by the sales rep. The shower door was then  installed on the left side of the shower. When we informed them of the issue, we were told to “just give it a try and see if we like it.” When we determined that was not going to work, they attempted to move it. The final product does not look good now. There is a mess of caulk around the frame and a visible hole from where they had originally mounted it. This is a brand new shower in a newly finished basement and it does not look good. If the original plan was followed we would not have been left with this sub-par installation now. Very displeased.

I had a mirror replaced on my car. Service was quick and cheap. There wasn't much labor involved but I was still only charged for parts.

Stow Glass & Mirror is professional in performing detailed installations, and honest/trustworthy in project communications.  SGM has proved this over multiple positive experiences when family and friends have used them for cutting mirrors; cutting and beveling glass table tops; and installing glass doors.

Very good, professional work at a more than reasonable price. Quick and effective. Will definitely  use their services again.

They were able to cut me a piece of glass that fit my piece that I needed while I waited and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again.
