The staff is tremendous, well informed, and helpful on everything. I love their selection and variety of gadgets for the outdoors equipment; the selection is often is better than big retailers. However, it makes me sad that their products are extremely overpriced. I purchased a collapsible backpack for a trip to Iceland for $40 here and found the exact same one at Eddie Bauer for $5. Same goes with their clothing; $100 jacket here is $50 elsewhere. But they often have colors and varieties that other stores still don't have. As much as I want to support local, I can't continue to overspend by 2x or more on leisure products. If the prices were lower I'd easily splurge and fill my garage with camping supplies from here. Definitely worth a visit though!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. My wife was looking for climbing shoes and has no formal experience climbing. The people here helped us out and even had better prices than you will find online.

Went in to take a quick look and ended up spending almost an hour in there talking to a staff member and test riding a bike. He saw my eyeing the bike and came over and asked if I would like to test ride it! Out of all the shops ive visited none have been as willing to let me test ride and while I didnt buy, the experience has ensured ill be coming back for their buisness.

I've only been to a few bicycle shops, but this is by far the best. I've come by when I had trouble with my front derailleur and it was adjusted in a minute at no cost. I've also had the same bike serviced there, I believe with the silver package or similar. Not only was the bike like new afterwards, they noticed a bent rear derailleur and improperly mounted front bracket. All issues were taken care of at a reasonable price. They are very transparent about what needs to be done and the cost before signing off. Additionally, all the employees are active in biking and are able to provide first hand advice about what to buy if you aren't certain, while not being pushy.
