Sunrise provided excellent service during this difficult time. They helped us make decisions for my mother's Celebration of Life and the space they provide was perfect. The workers were friendly and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with sensitivity and ease. We never felt rushed and they had great suggestions for us. Thank you for making a difference in this stressful and hard time in our life.
Every winter I am faced with the same issues. My parents are placed to rest in the mausoleum. The snow on the sidewalks is not removed. The mausoleum is open, you just have to walk through the snow to get to the front door. When I expressed my concerns about safety and walking to the door, I was told that if I would call them 4 days ahead of time, the snow would be removed. The side walk is about 15 ft long by 6 foot wide. How much effort would it take to clean up the snow!!!! An elderly person would struggle getting to the door!! If I had the opportunity I would move my parents somewhere else. This is the place they chose so I will honor keeping them here. In my opinion it is pure laziness that this doesn’t get done!!! People want to visit their loved ones!
Since the snow has milted on & off through the summer I stopped to try to receive information on a head stone for my mother who lays at rest at Sunrise Cemetery. Left my name and same active cell number with a secretary Everytime, never a call not once. Today I pull up to sunrise once again and there's 3 vehicle's " workers" in the office employee parking. I call, they answer, I asked once again to for information with the response "I'm sorry, I don't have anyone in the office......" As I'm seeing 3 cars "workers" no one in the office . Than continued to say, "you leave your name and number" AGAIN...... Very poor organization/Communication between the workers & poor customer service. Thanks for all you do.
The were very rude on the phone when I called about getting a vase to out flowers in added. Considering they deal daily with people who are grieving I’d expect a lot more professionalism. Also they charged $600 for working “after hours” from 4-4:30pm and had the nerve to come as about getting paid while we were still grave side. The funeral home we worked with also expressed they dislike working with them.
Disgusted that they refused to correct my Father's Obituary which was full of incorrect information and left out my children and grandchildren or contact me!
My mom passed away on October 13th. Sunrise Funeral Home - Larissa - Tayler, Bart, Joan and Tommy were wonderful to work with. From helping with writing the obituary to making sure the fireplace was on the day of the funeral - everything was done professionally and accurately. I cannot say enough about their kindness, patience, and compassion during this sad time for our family. Thank you Sunrise Funeral Home for all that you did for us. We are eternally grateful.

They have a mausoleum, if you choose not to be buried in the ground.
