This was a miserable stay. I called to confirm my reservation and let them know that I would be arriving later than expected and found out then that my reservation had been cancelled. I had forgotten to call them and notify them of my new bank card and to change the card on file, so that was my fault, but my reservation should have never been cancelled. They tried to charge my card on file, before my arrival. They never called to notify me that before or after cancelling my reservation. I made another reservation, even though I realize now that that was just the beginning of my issues and I should have taken that as a sign to stay elsewhere. Upon checking in, Angela was very rude and unable to answer any of my questions. Her response to every question was, "I don't know." with no attempt to find out or assist me. After getting to my room, I turned down the blanket and found a giant pee stain that had soaked through the sheets (no mattress protector) to the mattress and smelled horribly of urine. I called the front desk and they tried moving me to a smoking room. I had paid for a non smoking room with a king bed. He offered to move me to a different room that I would have only been able to stay in for one of my two nights and in that room, there wasn't even a smoke, just visible wiring. I offered to downgrade to a room with two queen beds that I could use for my entire stay, but supposedly nothing was available. I say supposedly, because they also tried to tell me after cancelling my room, that there wasn't a room with a king available and there were only queens left which I found to be untrue and an intimidation tactic because there were rooms available online. I spoke with the front desk clerk and asked them if it were possible for me to switch mattresses myself and they ok'd that. Everything seemed better until I noticed there was a plastic bag over the smoke alarm in my room and not even an alarm at all in one of the rooms, they wanted to switch me to. There wasn't any conditioner, but instead had three shampoos. The towels were as rough as sandpaper. The water pressure is horrible and water took awhile to heat up. The next day I left early to explore Memphis (my whole reason for visiting) and got back late. My room was never cleaned, towels were never replaced, and the AC had been turned completely off at the front desk which made the room very stale and stuffy. I later found out that they control the AC from the front desk. It took a long time for the room to finally cool down. I will never visit this hotel again and wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I spoke with the manager, Kal, and he sounded like he could care less about any of my issues and kept putting them off on someone else. This is not the quality that I would want in a leader if I worked there.

Got two rooms on sale for a couple of nights. Hotel looks nice enough. Beds were more comfortable Than some higher priced hotels. Exercise equipment was remarkably decent. Overall a decent stay. Past the superficial there are holes in walls and sheets and little in the way of protein at breakfast. No shade at the small outdoor pool.

The room was very nice. Bed and pillows were some of the best I've had at a hotel.

Hard beds and the second floor smelt like cat piss and weed.. These ratings should go from 0-5, you're quite undeserving of a star even for having a participating business. The management was extremely disrespectful, we were denied our service dog. Air conditioning was shut off and we were fined $250 with no understanding or sympathy, forced to check out of the hotel with no refund for our next 2 nights.
