New York is really trying to be more and more green. Perfect example is Battery Park City and especially Teardrop park. It can really make you to drop a tear :-). Incredible combination of meadows stones and water. Everybody needs to visit this park and take a short look of what the future parks of New York will be.

If we could make this a non tourist zone it would be the ideal park for NYers to relax. This park is gorgeous. The grass is green and the views are to die for. Definitely a must sit down park.

From the one world center Observatory the view to the area around teardrop park in lower Manhattan On a chilly December morning after a small snowfall , brings out the contrast in colors of the buildings

This park is not huge or something. It is small and accurate but still wonderful. It has green part and a little playground with only one long metallic slide ending with sand. But there is a stony way up to this slide so kids need to climb up. So kids love it. Rocks and sand combined with slide make hours of play.
