These people were unbelievably unprofessional and disrespectful for running a so-called "business." They completely insulted me with their offer (may I remind you I came to this place for a 100$ LOAN, not trying to sell anything!) I brought in an immaculate 5 string 600$ bass and asked for 100$ LOAN on a PAWN to pay an E.R HOSPITAL bill incurred the day prior, which they had absolutely no empathy or sympathy for whatsoever, obviously.  May I add this as yet ANOTHER example of disrespect and arrogance and how they treat their customers like walking robots with frivolous money to spend. Had they considered for the slightest second to be polite, make everone win (I'm fair!), have my loyal repeat business over the next decade, would instantly double their money AT LEAST if i didnt come back and get my guitar, and the family came up with the figure out of thin air. 

This delapadated "business" undercut me by 100$ compared to what I got from a pawn shop across the street from theirs, who actually knew how to greet customers correctly, come off with a good first impression and realize that first impression makes for a repeat customer for life.. 

Do not ever go to the shop, they are arrogant, disrespectful, tell you to leave if you don't like their offers, and that's exactly what I did and I will never take my business there. AND they are now missing out on about 2 to $3,000 a month of money that they would have made off of me. But now the other shop is going to get all my money because they were professional and they gave me what I asked for my loan. Don't ever even put your hand on the door handle of this store! Oh and if anybody wants to know, they tried to give me a $50 loan on a $600 guitar when I have repeatedly in the past, gotten at LEAST $100-150 each time I have pawned my instrument. I left their shop because of their unprofessionalism and undercutting and went to Gems and Loans and they gave me exactly what I asked for for my loan, $150. Unlike this store of negative vibes, Gems and Loans were completely reasonable/no questions asked and helpful. 

These people are scammers, they don't run a legitimate business. When I went in there in the middle of the day, and sat in the store for 20 minutes, I was the only person in there.

Honestly, shame on the family for treating their business and customers like a garbage dump and robots with frivolous money to spend. They're rejecting items that could bring them big money and it's obvious to see why the majority of all the ratings are one star. One peek inside and you can tell they have no idea what they're doing. I don't care if they've been there for 280 years as a business, they're obviously making no money because they don't even know how to do proper customer service let alone pricing, trading, pawning, or loaning. I can ASSURE YOU they do not use quote, "several" resources to price their items as the owner responded to ANOTHER 1 star rating. The guy pretended to search around on eBay for about 10 minutes and then pulled out a calculator and just pushed some random numbers and then offered me 50 bucks. So not only are they disrespectful (understatement) but they are also lying about how they conduct their business practices. The Better Business Bureau is definitely going to hear about this store from me. Sorry for the long rant, you can see how unbelievably upset walking into this store makes people (lol) and I want people to understand the exact reasons why people rate this store so low and have horrible reviews.

Never had a good experience here buying or selling.  The people that work there have a true air of arrogance.   Something that consistently sells for $150+ on eBay used, I was offered $0 because it was a collectible.  Told the don't buy collectibles.  Pointed out all the collectibles that they had for sell as I was leaving the store for the final time.

This place has the rudest staff possible the older men are really really arrogant like the other reviews saying and the young worker men just don't have a clue what the value of a used item is look at most the stuff they actually purchase it's not even good quality it's sad that this place thinks there an actual pawn shop I brought a multiple items some brand new and because the staff was not in a good mood I got turned down this place is a rip off do not take your items here if you want the most for your dollar these people use eBay and find the lowest possible Point price and then try to buy your item lower

They have been there for 28 years! That tells you a lot just there! Very trust worthy read some other reviews and totally disagree with any negative! Just remember it's a pawn shop if you want top dollar then you have to sell it yourself! These guys sell very fairly so they have to buy accordingly at least they aren't like all those other shops that try to sell you old merchandise for new prices!
