Old, probably historic original building? It is wonderfully decorated because it also serves as a nursery. So you get 3 for one. A place to shop, a nursery and a restaurant. Menu is a bit pricey but beautiful ambiance. Food is also pretty good. A nice place to check out, even if your not planning on eating.

Great, trendy atmosphere. Delicious food and a garden store with something for everyone. You can buy plants like a regular nursery but also gardening accessories & indoor gardening things as well. They also have dinnerware items and candles, soap, & jewelry. The restaurant has fresh local ingredients & butter baked in little Terra Cotta pots. This place never disappoints.

BYOB only so all dinner goers make a note of that. American eatery serving brunch daily and dinner on most days. Highly suggest having a reservation ahead. Looks like an absolute dreamy home with garden shop. Local Farm to table organic seasonal based food is served in the restaurant. Mushroom soup is the best. Liked the duck breast, small portion but quite rich with egg. Deserts were great, ordered sea salt Carmel with churro, one of the best deserts ever. Home made Drinks are great.

Poor value experience. It's a cute little set-up. The garden center is a beautiful backdrop for a café. The tabletop matches the surroundings, but the kitchen products make no sense. Rather than embracing the "Garden Café" part of it's name, Terrain tries very hard to be upscale. It does not succeed in this effort and it largely spoils the experience. The menu offerings and price points seem somewhat upscale, instead of normal café pickings. Yet, if you are going to try to be something you are not, at least do it well. The subtleties in dishes are largely lost, seasonings are absent or fall flat, and the meager dishes are dominated by sugars or oils. Not a terrible meal, but definitely a disappointing and poorly valued meal.

I suggest having a reservation in advanced. We didn't realize we might need one as we were looking for a good place to stop on our way home from Philly. The staff was so nice, they managed to squeeze us in when they could have just turned us away at the door. The food was amazing. Out of this world. I can't rave about this place enough. First the bread and butter was very good. The bread was fluffy and in a cute flower pot. The butter apparently changes everyday. Ours was maple syrup and fresh sage butter, which was delicious. I had the breakfast plate which had the best potatoes I've ever eaten in my life. Eggs, bacon and toast will never be the same for me. My boyfriend had a chai tea (or latte I believe?) which was the best chai either of us have ever had. The spices were perfect, they burned the back of your throat a bit. This is my new favorite place in PA. My only complaint is that they don't sell the butter that they make by the pound. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
