This place is huge. If you go away hungry, it's your own fault. The food is all you can eat buffet style, and it's always delicious. For the amount of crowds they get, they keep people moving through really well. Breakfast is my favorite meal there, but all the meals are good, and the sheer selection of food for the price is not bad at all.

I have been here many times over the years and am never disappointed with the quantity and quality of the food and pleasantness of the staff. If you like down home Pennsylvania Dutch cooking and delicious breads and desserts, it is the place to be! It is a little on the pricier side, but with all you can eat, it should be. It can be very busy on a Saturday morning and sometimes you need to be patient when waiting in line for an omelette, but I have never been disappointed. We recently visited to celebrate my father-in-law's 89th Birthday. Our group was about 20 people and we were in a separate room for groups with larger tables than the regular sitting area. The only downside was we were so large we had to sit at 2 separate tables, but that was understandable. One thing they do, which is much enjoyed, is the Free Birthday meal. We try to take advantage of it as often as possible! Check their website for info on that.

Free meal on your birthday! And with a selection of food that is second to none. This place is HUGE; it can probably accommodate a tour bus with no problem. I usually enjoy everything I eat there. On certain days they have food specials, & although I've never attended any of those days, I hear they are very popular. The place is immaculately clean & so are their restrooms! The downstairs gift shop is enormous. Some patrons come just to shop their wide array of beautiful items. And if you're not hungry enough for a smorgasbord, there is a luncheonette downstairs in the gift shop.

I try to go at least once a year and it is always a great experience. Food is fresh and tasty. Its always crowded but they manage that well. Nothing bad to say at all. Get there early for breakfast, lunch , or dinner and when you are done go downstairs and explore the gift shop. Plenty of other places within walking distance to shop as well. Parking can be tough during peak hours. From the outside looking in....This place is a well oiled machine. It's well staffed and well managed .

Great restaurant buffet, so much diversity, always crowded but the waiting time is decent and tolerable. The staff is very organized and very nice and friendly. Every meal or dish you put in your plate is tasty. I have nothing bad to say about Shady Maple, except that it's over a hour drive from my home, I wish I lived closer... I absolutely love this place.
