Oh. My. Goodness. I got in line “online” around noon which had me scheduled for a 3:16 pm appointment. Got to the DPS location a little later than planned but logged in at the kiosk prior to appointment time(3:15😐). With number in hand, I found a seat and pulled out my phone to kill time. Literally just opened my phone and my number was called. Lady was very quick and friendly. Was back in my car by 3:24!!! Rules #1 Download required documents and fill out before appointment or arriving to the office Rule #2 get in line online prior to your visit.

Out of all of the DPS locations in and around Houston, this one is by far the best! It's very modern and up-to-date and they have plenty of staff. The process is very streamlined and the wait time is nothing. When I went to renew my driver's license I got there when they opened at 7 a.m. and was done and walking out of the door by 7:30. If you live anywhere close to this area I would totally recommend going there to renew or revalidate your driver's license.

March 1st 2018 The DPS center on spring cypress is such an awful place!! It needs to be dismembered. It is better to have many other smaller places than to pay these workers. I had to go there several times just to get my daughter’s permits and they were unprofessional!!! The process is unorganized and workers are rude - Go stand here line 1 then here line 3 but u did not have to be in line 1 —their approval ratings are very low and not even the supervisor is nice/helpful. I do not want MY tax dollars going here!! One guy reeked of majuana (weed) and his eyes were red- he did not even try to conceal it!!! not even the police officer said anything- other Customers and I kept just looking at each other like- are you serious????? I guess the law means nothing and everyone should feel like they are not even a US citizen!!! Including the kids!!! # Hurricane Harvey keeps victimizing us and no one cares to help when they can!!- There were ways they could have helped us figure out how to prove our address besides an electric bill but of course none of the ones I brought worked - and they knew what bills would work but did not tell me or even try to help me - just kept sending me away until the third day of coming back again!!! 3 days !!!! REALLY?!! When is enough, enough !!!! They need to try harder to help people or be shut down!!!! I EXPECT more understand for people who have been displaced from the hurricane!!! However I think human decency is the most important!!!! There should be a bill that if the ratings are low with a specific amount of people rating them then they should be put on probation and trainings should be implemented or they close! No one should go through this!!! Especially my daughter’s first experience encountering them!!!! It was truly a hellacious experience that MUST change!!!!!! I expect it to change and I filed with B.B.B and I am also going to contact my congressman next Ted Poe is who you contact if you would like to join me to change how this runs!!!!! We do NOT have to put up with this!!!!

This is the fastest DMV I’ve ever been to. Went to update my last name and address on my license, pulled a ticket and was seen in maybe 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the right document for the name change but they offered to at least update my address. I left, got the correct paperwork and returned about an hour later. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The people I spoke to were very polite and professional.

This location sucks. Had to reschedule several times because they didn’t have it together. No one is on the same page from checking in to reps behind the desk. Reps need more training.
