We stayed at the Sunrise cottage mid October 2017. We came in from Annapolis, and after visiting Luray Caverns, we went to the grocery store to stock up, I don't remember which one, but Country Place gave us clear directions to stop off and get our food here before heading up. (THANK YOU!)  There was also an ABC store in the same shopping center. DOUBLE THANK YOU! When we arrived, everything was neat and tidy and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookery, appliances,  etc. maybe better stocked than my own kitchen! You won't need to bring a single thing to cook with or eat on, all that's covered! Even marshmallows roasting sticks! I was especially pleased by the owner Ben's prompt response to all of my questions both before and during my trip. Very helpful. he was able to answer all of our questions about fishing and horseback riding, etc. (By the way I highly recommend Fort Valley stables per Bens recommendation. My family did a lovely ride up the mountain, they were great.) I also found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable and very clean. They say that there is no Wi-Fi out there but, we had no problem connecting with LTE sprint whatsoever. I highly recommend. The Daly family had a great time, and we will be back for sure! A lovely place to stay, for sure

We had a wonderful weekend and everything we could ask for! Canoe, firewood for the pit outside, and beautiful weather! Games for the kids at night and nearby hiking trails to go on. I would recommend this place to anyone who just wants to see God's country at its finest!

Campground was wonderful close proximity to the caverns and town. Access to the river and all it provides was also great. Kids enjoyed themselves greatly.

We stayed on the river. The campsite was clean and the owner was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend camping here to anyone who asked.
