We had a great meal at The Hangry Bison. Fallon did a great job explaining the menu to us.. we all opted to build our own burger but the house specialty burgers looked amazing. The full service bar had an excellent selection of bourbons and the bourbon flights did not disappoint. Highly recommend if you're in the Winter Garden area. Kid-friendliness: Great play area off the patio Parking: Parking deck available 1 block away Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. It's on the ground level of building
This restaurant has a great vibe. Very big bar. The table next to me ordered a drink that came out under a glass dome with some smoke. It smelled amazing. Next time I want that drink!! My bison burger was ok but the fries were amazing. The outside seating area is amazing! And the location is phenomenal. A great addition to the Winter Garden restaurant scene.
My boyfriend and I went here on Saturday for a date. We were told the wait would be an hour but our table was ready in about 20 minutes. The service was amazing and our waitress I wish I could remember her name because she was the best! was so attentive and helpful. I’m somewhat of an opinionated eater, and most of the time when I’m trying a new restaurant out there’s only one or two things I really like. But literally everything I ate here, from appetizer to dessert, was incredible. We ordered the pretzel bites with beer cheese, each ordered a burger BF: The Hangry Bison, Me: custom bison burger, and had the most amazing Maple Bourbon bread pudding for dessert. The ability to build your own burger with the amount of customization options they have is amazing. I love burgers so much and when I say that might be the best one I’ve ever had I really, really mean it. I highly recommend this place.
Stopped here for the first time today with my husband. Loved the atmosphere of the outdoor seating area. Wait time was about thirty-five minutes so we walked around town until we received a text that our table was ready. I ordered the Hangry Red Head fried chicken sandwich on a brioche bun. It was supposed to be spicy hot but it wasn’t. Although the chicken breast itself was cooked perfectly, the breading fell off as it was being eaten. The bun also fell apart and I ended up eating the remains with a fork. My husband “built” a salad under the Bison Build menu. The chicken breast was great but the salad greens were a little scant. The roasted corn side was absolutely delicious. Our server was very pleasant and took time to go over the menu since it was our first visit. Not sure if a return visit is in the future.
Atmosphere was inviting and lively. Food was delicious, the Bison burger melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection. Our server Lachey sorry if I misspelled it was great. He made recommendations on items, which we took his advice he explained the menu and options. Friendly and attentive. Definitely will recommend. Kid-friendliness: The kid menu was perfect for my 9yr old.
Our first visit and it won't be our last. We took a walk on the West Orange Trail and wanted to try something new. We had a later lunch here and were not disappointed. We love the opportunity to dine outside on a nice day and this was a perfect place. We were able to watch the action on Plant Street while enjoying a beer and lunch. We had the Florida Cobb Salad as advertised, no extras and my husband loved it. I had a grilled chicken breast in a lettuce wrap with a side salad. I liked that I could mix up the options for the sandwich.
Came here for lunch with a friend. The restaurant was clean and well-lighted. We were seated promptly. Our server went over the menu with us and answered our questions. The food arrived at our table in a timely manner. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely will be back.
Ugh… first and last time! I happen to like bison, but definitely not here. I ordered the bison burger and it had no taste whatsoever. And that was after we told the waiter, how terrible the calamari was. On the upside, my friend Regina, ordered the Godzilla which comes with a fried egg on top and she liked her selection. As it turns out, last time she had a burger was 5 years ago! So let me ask something, if their signature bison burger on a Texas Toast has no taste whatsoever, are we to expect, anything else does? Perhaps only the ones with fried eggs on top! Way too many restaurants on Plant Street to waste $72 on this establishment, sorry… once was enough!
This has to be one of the best burger places in Orlando. I can’t remember the name of the one I had but it was fantastic, like I was eating a cloud made from joy. Short rib burger patty, beer cheese, onion strings, buttered and seasoned Texas toast. A M A Z I N G. The service needs some work: drinks not refilled, table not cleared, etc BUT I’ll give that a pass to eat another awesome burger. 10 out 10 recommend
Loved this place. Fun atmosphere, great indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the bar which had the indoor/outdoor vibe and great bartenders! We didn’t eat because we were on an afternoon of celebrating but I highly recommend the smoked rose old fashion ! You won’t be able to drink just one! It was nice being at a place that had “mixologist” with lots of unique drink options.
