Customer Service is inconsistent. I called last week to ask about their dog policy and the CS representative told me that as long as my dog was leashed and well behaved he was more than welcome. She even told me that she trained her dog at Home Depot as well! So we went in on a Sunday Morning and had no problems! This morning I went in with the same intention of training my dog in the store while my BF shopped for some hardware. I even had one employee stop by to say hi and chat about my dog's breed! Then a third employee, who seemed noticeably scared of dogs came to tell me that she spoke with her store manager and was told that their policy was service dogs only. So we left. (Frankly I don't think it would have been an issue if the employee herself hadn't been clearly afraid.) After we left I called the store to ask a fourth person what the store's dog policy was. She told me that as long as he was on a leash or in the basket that he would be allowed. Home Depot needs to get their employees all on the same page! How am I, as a consumer supposed to know what to expect if 4 different people are telling me 4 completely different things! (BTW, since we got kicked out, my BF and I are currently purchasing our hardware at the Lowe's just across the street. I asked 4 different employees about their dog policy and got consistent responses).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Their app/website tells you availability of items and the exact aisle. Too good.

Help was lacking. I needed 1.5" PVC pipe and it was above anywhere one could reach. I called out to two sales associates and they walked away. They were in the plumbing department but walked away! I went searching for other sales persons and ran into one and she said, "I have to go cut a key for a person." Instead she should have said, "Although I have to cut a key for a person but allow me to get someone from the plumbing department to help you." She walked away.
