Stopped by for brunch on a Sunday morning, really awesome space with a ton of character. I had the latkes with poached eggs; awesome dish, tons of flavor and great presentation! I will be back, only criticism I have is that it was a bit cold inside, though it was a very cold morning and it is an older building.

Great food and service. Also, unlike other reviewers, we found the portion size to be ample. One person at our table ordered the grilled half chicken and could not eat the entire plate, there was so much food! Another person ordered the pan-seared fish and ate every bite (he was hungrier, but was also full afterwards)! The rooftop seating is beautiful , peaceful, and airy. Go before it turns cold outside!

Food is pricey but excellent. Brunch is a good way to go to save a little money and still have a great meal. The space itself is very cool, with a nice little rooftop for drinks.

The food is terrific and priced by NY standards. We arrived at 5:45 and were nearly the only ones present for the first 15 minutes. Despite that the noise level was intolerable at first. Maybe others would like loud music to drown out conversation; but we were very unhappy. The good news is that the staff responded right away to our request to turn it down. We actually wanted it turned off, but did not want to insult. When the tables filled up, they did turn it off. But the design of the building, as charming as it is makes for really bad acoustic environment. So it is noisy regardless. I strongly recommend that the music not be added to the din.

Loved everything about this place. Service was fantastic, and the place has a really cool look inside. Best part was food, though, for sure. Wife and I shared a bunch of small plates, and everything was great. Highly recommend bluefish dip and the grit cake with duck liver. Both were amazing. I'll be going back for sure.
