$$ Nice cafe, great coffee, good food, delicious baked goods. Great for brunch. OK atmosphere but not particularly cozy - strange layout. Fantastic in the Summer when you can sit outside. I was there recently with a group of friends and had a lovely time. We need more places like Guglhupf in the triangle.

This place is wonderful.  The food is fantastic, the ambiance even better.  If you have never tried it, you definitely need to check it out!  Parking is a bit of a disaster (be prepared for that) but it is worth fighting for a spot in my opinion. 

When you enter the resturant, you order your food and coffee at the counter.  The line starts immediately as you enter the door.  Your food and any espresso drink you order will be brought to your table. If you order drip coffee, the person at the counter will give you be cup and the coffee carafes are directly behind you when you are at the counter.  

My favorite thing about ordering coffee or espresso here is that each cup comes with a small shortbread cookie.  It's a nice touch and delicious as well!!

This place is a pretty nice spot. Great for a sandwich or coffee or maybe just a quick pastry. Everything is nasty and super friendly service. A cool place to hangout and meet friends or take a book and study. Giving it 4 stars and not 5 because it is nothing super special. I feel like these places are pretty common in the area.

A little piece of Europe in Durham, NC.  German-inspired. Lovely on the eyes, artistic. Wonderful goodies and dinners, lunches. Popular with students, young professionals and the well-heeled. Relaxed atmosphere. Attentive, friendly servers. Parking available, but hard to find during busy times. You can park on the street. Nice bathrooms. Adjoining bakery selling French and other Euro pastries and breads. Try the lemon bars...my favorite. Several cool vintage shops in this area.

We stopped by the bakery for a last minute vegetable quiche for a dinner party. It was very, very good too but they only had ONE available. I guess I found it bothersome in that there was a lack of baked/pastry dinner/breakfast foods available other than just the quiche. No Shepherds pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Mince Meat Pie...only straight up desserts. Fine I guess. But I would love it even more if I could stop by and pick up a quick dinner pie to heat up at home for the family.

Prices were fair. Everything appeared clean. Staff was nice. We'll be back.
