Fabulous place for food and drink. They're able to alter dishes to suit dietary needs, which isn't always easy sometimes with multi-course meals. They did it without a fuss, and it was great. The people here care about providing a great dining experience. This is one of the best restaurants in Durham or anywhere else.

Swordfish, seafood risotto, creme brûlée.  All the best.  Great atmosphere.  Great service, perfect preparation. Not outrageously priced for fine dining.  Well worth the value.  I’ll be back.

My wife and I had dinner at Nana's last week to celebrate her birthday and we had a terrific time. Although our reservation was for 7:00pm and we weren't seated until 30 minutes later, we were able to enjoy drinks at their bar which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. 

In terms of their food, it is hard to think of better fare in Durham that has the cozy ambiance of Nana's. We had a beef short rib ravioli to start and for our entrees, my wife had the snapper and I had venison steaks in a marrow broth. Our desserts consisted of their creme brulee and a key lime tart. I couldn't find anything to criticize about the food. Their menu rotates regularly so each visit to Nana's is different. 

The wait staff is courteous and professional. The bar is well equipped with a ton of different bourbons and whiskeys, if that's your thing. The one issue is parking as it can be a little difficult to find parking in that area. There is a free valet service for those interested and that alleviates a bit of the issue. 

Overall 5 stars, can't wait to go back

Seriously!? Google asking ME to rate NANA'S? Look, Nana's is so far beyond my qualification to rate that it's embarrassing to even be writing this. Nana's is owned, operated and cheffed by one of the most talented cooks and chefs in the entire United States. Great meal and great experience. Po'Dunk D'um is indeed fortunate to have had Nana's for so long now!
