Affordable hotel right by time square. They store your luggage for you and let you check in early if there's room available. The staff was very nice and the rooms were a little small but it was clean and nice. There's not much of a view from the rooms but if you're not planning on just staying in your room then this hotel will do. I mean, it is New York and right by time square so a view wouldn't matter much, you're going to be out most of the time anyways.

Room was "Deluxe King Size with City View". Woken up at 7:30 every morning by jackhammering that continued into the afternoon, due to construction directly under our window, across the street. When we asked if a room was available on the other side of the hotel, we were told a manager wouldn't be in until later and would call us. (Never happened). Instead, they brought earplugs to our room. Four days of jackhammering and I couldn't wait to get out of there. On our way out, we filled out a form for the manager to call or email, that did not happen either.

I loved this hotel. The staff are super friendly. It smelled amazing and was decorated beautifully. Only negatives were: No continental breakfast, microwave, or refrigerator. The rooms are small but it's the city, I wouldn't expect a huge room. I would stay again, in a heartbeat. Wonderful place.

Staff was very nice. Room was small which is expected in NYC but have stayed in other hotels in Midtown that were larger and more comfortable. Room was clean but needed renovating badly. Location right off Times Square was great. No restaurant at the time we stayed and no coffee in room or lobby.

I arrived before my room was ready, and checked my bags with the bellman to do some site seeing. When I returned, my room was ready. I got my bag, went to the room, and unpacked. That’s when I noticed my makeup bag was missing from my luggage. I called the front desk, and the representative said the room where the bags are held has security cameras, and she would look through them to find out what happened. Later that night, she called to say that she needed help working the camera footage and I needed to wait until Monday when a different manager was on duty. I spent the weekend without makeup, which is kind of a bummer when you’re in hundreds of pictures. On Monday, I received a voicemail from the manager who could supposedly help, and I promptly called back. I was told that manager left for the evening, but a message would be left for him. I’ve called 3 times since then, and the manager that can supposedly help me is conveniently never there. It’s been a week. About the hotel: The room was postcard tiny. The shower never got hot. The heater sounded like a freight train. Only one elevator worked and could only fit 3 people. Stay at Night Hotels Times Square at your own risk. And certainly don’t leave any valuables with the bellmen.
