The best hotel in the center of time square. You can over look the time square from your hotel room.  From the renaissance hotel R lounge you  360 degree view on the time square on the new year eve you can sit there view the ball drop from the top.  The staff are friendly and the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. It is really convenient to go anywhere from hotel. The subway is just next door. Best location. I strongly recommend you stay this hotel if the price is around you budget.  One thing if you stay here do not rent a car !

The good: the staff. Super friendly and accommodating. The bad: the idiotic elevator system. First off you have to change elevators to get to the guest rooms. Second the elevator going from the ground to lobby is extremely slow. I used the stairs often and always beat the elevator. Going from the 3rd floor to the 20th floor was quicker than the ground floor elevator and that one is only 3 floors. The rooms are decent but nothing out of the ordinary. For a Renaissance this hotel disappointed. Asides it being right at Times Square this hotel doesn't have much else going for it.

1st stay at a Renaissance hotel. Our location was Times Square in the middle of it all which is what we wanted. Our stay was amazing. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace which has an amazing view. The room was very clean n up to date. The mattress and bedding was very, I mean amazingly comfortable. The concierge was very helpful with everything we asked.  Thanks Renaissance Times Square for making my daughter 12th Bday so much better.

Very clean place. Very nice and fancy. Valet parking. Plus it's located in times square! Not a single issue with this hotel. I would recommend everyone to this lovely place.

The location you cannot fault.  The hotel checkin staff where very nice however our booking had changed and they did not update there system so we had a different room for the first night.  Bed was very uncomfortable you roll inwards recommend new mattresses and pillows  were no good.  The lifts only one working from the ground floor to lobby and the one to the room were not very good either.  Last night no lifts from ground floor to lobby were working.  For the price we paid we were quiet disappointed.  The breakfast was hardly any choice for $30 a person thought it to be a not value for money.
