Probably the most expensive thrift store I have been too. Goodwill will typically have lower prices and nearly as good of a selection. Its a shame that their service is intended for the less fortunate to be able to afford quality items yet they price them terribly high. I know this is a common thing now a days that thrift stores check online resources to price items, but that ruins the fun of going a thrift store and finding a great deal to brag home about. The only positive for me is that the store is well stocked and has a good variety of items and is properly organized.

I would like to share that I now will shop at any Salvation Army, for year's I avoided shopping at any resale shop due to the dust and fear of bed bugs and lack of disorganization, but now I see being a Chicago native how much they have grown as a company AND I love the manager Daryl Hall, he is the reason why I started shopping at the Salvation Army. He encouraged me to check them out, his professional conduct and integrity about his job is impeccable,his positive and serious attitude about aiming to please the consumer goes beyond word's. He is a very discipline manager and the employees under is watch are well trained and also aim to please the consumer. Thank you Mr. Daryl Hall! I genuinely wish you all the best success with The Salvation Army core! Your an asset to the management team!!! Thanks for keeping me out of debt as well. Shopping with you all has made a huge difference in my finances and now I am back track!!!! May God bless you always!!!!

Wayyyyy overpriced on most things. Saw many items with old price tags still attached that were way under what SA was asking. I came on a Monday afternoon and there were just too many employees--I get that you need to restock, but I think you're overstaffed if every two minutes I have an employee behind me expecting me to move or literally reaching over my cart to hang stuff with no warning. All clothes and apparently even shoes are organized by color, which got tiring and seemed to really slow me down. I found a few cool items and this store is really nice and big, but overall it is just too overpriced for me. It's no fun when you know they are trying to scam you and the prices listed aren't fair. Probably won't be back any time soon.

store is closed on Sunday but donation drop off is still open. Easiest location to donate goods in the city and has really nice in store set up.

I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to see items in the front ,jewelry counter.Then after I asked one of the sales girls to hold a few items that I wanted to buy ,a pair of earrings that were held for less than five min. disappeared. After all three clerks searched for them for about 10 mins. the earrings were never found.I bought several other items,and a large bag,but felt frustrated that the earrings were never found. I had to stand there and wait,making me late for an appointment. Otherwise,I like the stores new organized merchandising.
