After my most recent experience, I give the Shawnee Inn 5 stars. I was there for a retreat when we lost power in a severe winter storm. The staff was incredibly attentive and really went the extra mile to be sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen staff was the most unbelievable, making the most amazing food! The property is a little dated but I feel that adds to its charm! The grounds are beautiful, I had an awesome massage at the spa, and the staff is top notch!

Getting a bit old and could use some sprucing up. The food is not horrible but nothing to write home about. However very nice grounds and a very quiet place to relax. The Gem and Keystone restaurant nearby is worth checking out if your hungry.  Nearby hiking trails are some of the best and Shawnee and Camelback ski resorts are very close by.

This place might be about 100 years old, but it is incredibly charming and affordable. The room we had was massive with a fireplace and a Jacuzzi tub and the concierge had cookies and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room when we arrived. We went for our honeymoon and used the "Fall Spa Spectacular" package. It was such a good deal. Each of us got 3 hours of spa time (per day) included in our room rate with breakfast! The spa services were all amazing!

Great decor around this historical & beautiful hotel! It has all you need, a spa with great massages (thanks Patricia!) beautiful pool and jacuzzi, fitness center and charming rooms with the beautiful Delaware river view. Arthur at the front desk gave us great recommendations about what to visit around the hotel, a great example of customer service! And all this just 5 minutes away from the Shawnee ski Area.

A generally very nice experience with the family.  We appreciated the grounds, enjoyed the archery activity, slept well, and found it very close to skiing. The only things missing from a guest's perspective are major repair to the pool facility and renovation to the rooms, which could be a challenge for the owners to achieve, given the smaller capacity and the need to stay competitive with the rates.  I hope the owners can find a way to achieve this, because Shawnee Inn has great potential as a refreshingly small resort.
