Paid extra for 2nd day air and was 70 dollars more than the post office and was told it was a guarantee to be there in 2 days and didn't get there. When I called to find out I got nothing but double talk and excuses. Won't ever deal with this company ever again complete

I've used this store for quite a while now without any problems and the staff has been nice and helpful thus far, however what has happened to me recently has broken all trust with this store as well as the UPS brand. I recently came in to send a package to my godson who was leaving for his first year in college. The package i sent had just a few trinkets in it but also had a $500 gift/cash card inside. When I asked about insurance, I let it slip (my fault) that there was a gift card of substantial value inside. Since the guys at the counter seemed very nice and helpful, I felt comfortable sending the package with only the $100 maximum insurance they offered. After a week of not hearing from my godson that he received the package, I looked up the tracking number and saw this as the status, "All merchandise missing, empty carton was discarded. UPS will notify the sender with details of the damage." Not only does this lead me to suspect foul play by the employees at this location, but I've also yet to be contacted by UPS on this incident and if I hadn't followed up on this package, I doubt would have ever known what had happened. This experience has been permanent trustbuster with this store and the UPS brand. Beware of sending anything of value from this store.

I've been a customer here for seven years. Rented a box when I moved to Santa Cruz and never intended to keep it. But I will as long as I am in the area, because these guys give the best service ever. I can't count the number of times they have gone above and beyond. Incredible staff, friendly and knowledgeable.

I  appreciated the great service and the customer service people are great.  I was able to accomplish all my package and mail needs. Thanks guys for the great work. You can trust them 100%.

New owner has excellent service. All the employees are super friendly. They answer all my questions and they are super helpful. Unlike the previous owner who was always rude. Now I love going to the UPS Store.
