Definitely a safe bet for fine dining outside of San Francisco. High quality ingredients from not far away and creative cooking makes the dishes very appealing. 3-course menu was 55, which is not bad for this type of dining experience (Michelin star). Scallops with Kara oranges and coconut were amazing. Schnitzel was real a and the desserts were French in a playful way, but would do slightly better with less sugar. Wine list is amazing and even the wine by glass selection is plentiful. The staff can help with choices. We also had a team lunch here in a private room. Very good experience from the first call to the last guest leaving with a special XXL chocolate cookie for her birthday. You can't go wrong here at the Village Pub.

Great food, everything is overpriced of course. For example, I ordered halibut, and it came with three gnioccis and three mushrooms, and one stalk of asparagus that was cut into three smaller pieces...word! Good flavor though, but for $40, come on, the restaurant can be more generous on the sides. Be aware, the corkage fee is $50 per bottle. We brought two bottles of wine, which ended up being $100. The restaurant does sell bottles of wine from their wine list with no minimum purchase requirement. And you can get some discount too. Overall, great experience for special occasions.

Really high quality food with prices to match. Sitting outside can be lovely for lunch when the sun hits the patio and you're protected from the wind - great during the shoulder season. We had the duck confit and a very nice rose wine with it - nearly felt like being in France.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Love the atmosphere, and the food is really superb. The best dish here.. Though I've not seen it on the menu in a while..is the Chestnut soup. Mmmmm.

Excellent service by YURI!!! He made great suggestions beginning with light and delicious scallop appetizer paired with delicious Brut champagne. Warm and professional staff. We'll be back.
