Worked with Kristen Thompson to buy a home. Excellent in every regard. Was working with another agent, but the process was too time consuming. What attracted me to this brokerage was their excellent web site that is fast and allows for detailed searches, making it very efficient to find out about feasible neighborhoods and specific homes. For example, it allows searching for homes WITHOUT pools, not just with a pool. Also with and without HOA and by amount of HOA fees. The office has a friendly welcoming feel, unlike the previous brokerage that I worked with, which was somewhat more security intensive. 

This was my seventh house, and Kristen was the best agent I have worked with, very knowledgable, helpful, and generous with her time in helping me find the home I love. Some buyers prefer forming an initial impression of a home without input from their agent, which was initially how Kristen operated. On the other hand, I prefer an agent to go with me and share her expert opinion of things good or bad that I might not notice and answer questions, which Kristen did superbly. Although comps and pricing a home isn't an exact science, I thought Kristen did an excellent analysis and represented my interests well in negotiations. Highly, highly recommended.

Tiffany and Matt Thomas represented us as our selling agent.  They really rolled out the red carpet for us.  I didn't even have to think about doing anything because Tiffany and her staff were right there to do it.  She has connections who will stage your home and take professional pictures to make your listing stand out. We were able to get multiple offers and secure a signed contract within a week of listing our home.  After that, Tiffany was in constant communication with us every step of the way. We never had to wonder what our status was because Thomas Group kept us updated through the process.  If you really want the red carpet treatment, call Tiffany at Thomas Group Realty.

Matt Thomas with Thomas Group Realty did a wonderful job as our realtor for the sale of our home.  From the initial meeting, he was very well prepared and knowledgeable about not only the home, but about the neighborhood and our subdivision.  The house sold 6 days after listing for exactly what he predicted it would sell for.  He then guided us seamlessly through the entire closing process including helping us schedule small repairs on the home.  We never figured that selling out home would be so painless and uncomplicated.  I would recommend him highly to anybody looking in the Gainesville, FL area.

I looked at a house on short sale at 6/19/17 at 10727 NW 67th Way Alachua Fl at 2pm that price was drastically reduced by $50,000.  An offer of $225,000 was submitted on Tuesday morning ($5,000 less than asking price) via 40% cash and 60% mortgage backed line of credit.  I was told buyer did not like our line of credit, so offer was changed to $235,000 cash.  My realtor constantly asked them to let  us know where we would need to be at. as I could have offered more for the house.  Thomas Group refused to cooperate, and stated that buyer accepted an offer (which I suspect is less than my offer or even what I was willing to go to  for the house).  While it is not fraudulent, this business practice is highly unethical.  In a short sell, with all factors being the same, you should accept a higher offer or someone willing to make a higher offer.   Highly unethical business practices.  I will be contacting the MLS board and the lending institution as well.

It's hard to describe the wonderful experience we had with Tiffany & Matt Thomas and their team.  We decided to buy our first home and were in a bind to find something quick but that was perfect for us at the same time.  We did a lot of research but the knowledge that Tiffany and Matt brought to our search was way better than any article we could have read online or advice we could have gotten from a friend.  From home improvement advice to thoughts on the areas we were looking in and issues with the homes we were looking at they were extremely thorough.  We were presented with option after option based on our criteria and a bevy of excellent references for other services we needed along the way.  They gave extremely helpful tips and items for us to consider both during our search and during our inspection and purchasing process.  They treated us like family and advocated for us during the purchasing process better than we could have for ourselves.  It truly was the dream team and we are so happy in our new home!!!  We would recommend them to anyone!
