Jim is straight forward with you about what the issue is and I think they are fair on labor cost.

Jim and the guys at TLC Automotive are wonderful and more than fair. I live very close and they have walked over to help me with previous car troubles. Now that I have a reliable vehicle, there is still no where I'd rather go. They are the best!

I suspected a lifter tick and took my car up to jims to have it looked at. I paid Jim to drive my car around the block only to be told that my car is great "as is" and he would be comfortable to drive it to San Diego and back. He went on to tell me that my car could make it to 300,000 miles. I took his word for it being that my car is at 132,000 miles. I drove to Gallatin over the weekend (not even 100 miles from independence) and my car throws a rod on the way back throwing all my oil onto 291 and seizing my motor. I won't be returning after years of being a loyal customer.
