Great camping spot to take youth groups. There are nice trails near by and the sites are clean, open year long and provide plenty space. Water is not available during winter months but that is standard for most public camping. You are required to a pay an entrance fee in addition to the camp site fee.

Great camping and hiking. This place is great even if you just want to go for a short hike.

I made a pit stop and came out to find the ranger flash lighting my van. He explained where the campground was and reminded me twice of the consequences of not paying. I drove up scenic drive  to the only open campground but there were no spots close to the hot showers and no power hookups. $20 is too much to ask for a parking space.
