We stayed at Turquoise Trail Campground for three nights in January, 2018. We found this campground to be clean, quiet, and dark. It is a lovely setting even in the winter months. As others have said, it is a short drive to many activities. Emily was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. This was a very enjoyable stay.

arrived at 1130 pm with no reservation for an overnight stay. did not use the facilities other than a spot with water and electric. playground and restroom building looked run down but, again, did not go in. it was perfect for our 32' Class C for $30; however, electricity went out during the night and she offered no partial refund. spoke to owner/manager? in the morning to pay--very nice. would stay again vs over priced KOA to just sleep.

We researched numerous RV parks before making the huge decision to stay long term at this AWESOME RV park. Moved two days before Xmas and all I can say is that we feel we made the best choice. As far as the negative reviews posted I must say that these people just stayed one or two nights, passing through, probably city slickers to begin with because the "dogs barking constantly" comments have nothing to do with the park's rules...there is a large house up on the hill backing the mountain that must have at least 6 dogs - they are the pooches making all the racket - especially when the coyotes are out hunting at night. This is beyond the owners control. Frankly, it makes me feel like I'm really living the lifestyle in the old west. Stop in for a day, live here for a month or more, you won't regret it. Clean facilities, so quiet you can hear a pin drop, and the dogs howling thing is beyond their control and not that frequent to annoy you enough to move/leave nasty comments. It's all good. And just a hop, skip and a jump from ABQ, Santa Fe and many attractions.,

My dog accidentally got loose, and the guy that owns the campground nearly hit him with a rock. Not dog friendly. Not even remotely understanding. I don't recommend to anyone with animals.
