I think you need to improve for THIS customer as well as the next customer.    NO STARs.

Absolutely horrible experience.  Reserved a 6’ x 9’ trailer, and received confirmation it would be there for date and time requested and a person would inspect and install equipment on our vehicle.  We arrived at the pickup location 30 minutes before reservation time.  We were told they would not help install the trailer to the hitch, and even explained that we were not physically able to install the equipment ourselves.   Over an hour after the reservation time started and still were refused customer support…..we left.   All that was offered was a phone number to contact a U-Haul reservation hotline to see if other trailers at another location were available and if they could hook them up.  At this point, we have movers waiting to load the trailer, and then would be late to meet our movers to unload the trailer.  Overall, Uhaul’s lack of customer service not only cost us precious time (totaling about $150 in mover ‘standing around’ expense, but also caused a TON more stress during an already stressful event.  I would like to be reimbursed both the $150 for mover expense as well as the rental fee.  Lastly, I would recommend ceasing your contract with this rental location in Oak Lawn.  Terrible customer experience, and will stick with Penske in the future NO MATTER WHAT the circumstance.
