I have never given a 1 star review on anything, but I just had to share this here; I just got off the phone with this location to ask why our mailman will take our junk mail that I took OUT of our mailbox and placed on the floor to later bring to our garbage would STUFF that same junk mail back INTO our mailbox, as if he's making a point. He stuffed so much in the box that we had to tear the mail quite a bit to get it out of the box! Only thing I can figure is that he became angry with me a few weeks ago when I heard him coming up the stairs to drop off a package to the neighbor across the hall. (We live in a 3 unit building.) I kindly asked him if he needed me to sign anything for him to drop it off to her, as the Fed Ex guy just asked me if I would for another package the neighbor was getting. The mailman looked at me like I was crazy, and very mockingly asked why he would need me to sign anything... I calmly smiled and asked the mailman what his name was. He ignored me. So I just called this post office, and the woman who answered the phone told me she had absolutely no problem with the mailman stuffing a week's worth of junk mail BACK INTO my mailbox from where it was on the floor of the foyer. I asked why she thought it was his job to take mail from MY floor and put it back into the mailbox, to which she answered, "Well, it's his job to make sure the mail is delivered." You can't make this stuff up... I calmly went over this three more times, and she kept telling me she had no problem with the mailman picking up the junk mail from the floor, something I've been doing for 4.5 months since I moved here, and had the gaul to ask me why I was keeping the junk mail on the floor below the mailbox. Zombies amongst us...

5 stars for the worker Tom who saved my boyfriend and I $250 I don't normally call people out for poor customer service b/c I've been there, done that, and understand that we can't please every customer. But I was at the USPS office today trying to send a phone back. And I know I got there 15-20 minutes before closing time, BUT I STILL GOT THEIR BEFORE THEY CLOSED. This lady in her mid 50's who's obviously irritated by some unknown forces, made me wait 2-3 minutes before she offered to help. I told her I wanted to return the item. She grabs the box, rotates it around quickly and I'm on the other side of the counter, digging thru my purse for my wallet. All of a sudden she one-handedly tossed my box across the counter, causing the box to skid and slide towards me. She then rudely said, " We can't send it back because there's no return sticker. Those kind of things normally come with another sticker, I don't know why that one didn't come with one." EXTREMELY PO at this point, I "assertively" told her that there's a $250 plus phone in there and I didn't want her handling my box that way. (SHE NEVER APOLOGIZED!) I also told her I was there with my boyfriend earlier today and the guy helping us told us he could send it back but he wants to make sure we get our refund so he sent us home to call for a case number. She looked dumb-struck and asked who so I told her the guy was Tom, after that she goes "Oh, just write the return address and your address on here then" *slides me a "To-from" sticker And as I was copying down the address from the label on the box, she grabs my box back, rips off the sticker saying "its got to come off anyway" and starts reading off the return address for me to copy onto the sticker. I chuckled in disbelief and shook my head as I wrote, took care of my business, she gave me my tracking number, wished me a good day and I was off. I don't care what happened to her, death in the family, a customer ruined her entire day, her dog got ran over by a bus, she hates her job (quite obvious) etc. But, I nor anyone did not deserve to be treated like a nuisance and humiliated like that in public for returning a box. Something that should've took a maximum of 3 minutes went well over that because she just rather have me leave than give me a sticker to send it out.

I never have a bad experience with this location. It is my favorite one to go to, plus the building to me is really pretty.

Mike was really rude to deal with. However, the woman typically atthe counter is great. Mail isn't sorted on time.
