I visit the Greer Post Office 1-2 times a month, usually to ship odds and ends to family members, and I think its very nice! I have never had an issue here - the employees are helpful and even when lines are long I've never waited more than 10 minutes. Overall I think the USPS provides a wonderful service - where else can you send something to the other side of the country for 49 cents!

I have never written a review, but I cannot let this go. This is by far the worst post office I have ever dealt with. As a military veteran, I have lived in many many places and have not seen the level of incompetence I am subjected to daily! Our carrier is horrible, she mis-delivers items 2-3 times per week, has damaged items by stuffing them into the box because she’s too lazy to bring them to the door, and has lost(?) countless items. Oh have tried repeatedly to speak to someone via phone and have not been able to get an answer anytime of day. They let the phone ring so many times that the call finally disconnects. I receive medication from the VA and not having it causes me serious issues. I am now forced to go to the post office in person to try and get help. This is ridiculous and unacceptable!

If your going to just not even try to deliver! Do not come up with a lie of an excuse! Put the correct reason you did not deliver! No access?! What kind of bull is that?! You do this all the time! I have lived many places, and the Greer and Duncan SC postal service is a joke! Especially the Duncan SC branch! Still waiting on packages! Get it together! No wonder the US Postal service is broke, you can't do yours jobs correctly and your over paid!

Overall I have had a positive experience with the Greer post office in the 9 years we have lived here and my regular letter carrier is a gem. I dread the day he retires because I know not all carriers are as conscientious. From time to time we have had a substitute that wasn't up to par. Yes, once in a while I get mail for someone else but I am sure that happens everywhere. Just consider how many millions of packages the USPS handles daily. They are only human and mistakes are bound to happen from time to time. I sell online so I do ship a lot more than the average person and my packages are consistently scanned when my carrier picks them up or if I drop them off at the post office. Some of the folks working at the post office may not be the friendliest but I have never experienced any rudeness from them. They are not there to be our friends but rather to do a job.

Perpetually get "undeliverable" notifications on packages that come from Amazon on the days they simply don't feel like making the parcel stop. Mind you, I get packages often. The item usually shows up the next day. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Currently have another item undeliverable. Called the company and verified my shipping address. Nothing wrong, just another lazy mail delivery service day.
