I agree with the others who have mentioned that the two individuals are never working at the same time. I have been here at least 3 times and each time I'm in line for almost 25 minutes or longer. The one worker who seems kind enough is often in the middle of a lengthy story when I walk in. The other day I went and the staff member was "educating" a patron on Nigerian scams while 5 of us waited in line. When I walked in, the 4 people ahead of me looked over at me with somber looks like they had been waiting forever. I gave it 2 minutes and left as the worker kept going on and on about the scams and some round about story. They don't seem to have a sense of urgency and work very very very slow. I would go to another location if you are pressed for time. But if you want some entertainment check it out.

Used to be excellent. But decreasing number of the staff made it very inconvenient.too long line in the pike time. Otherwise I like it.

Takes forever to get anything mailed out here. The two guys that work never appear to work at the same time. One will come out of the back and see 10 people standing there, just to look at the line then leave. They talk so much, almost act as if they have never shipped anything before. Every package is like a first time for them.

I'm new in town and after reading the poor USPS posts for the city of Columbia I was apprehensive about my visit. I came in to the Five Points location on a Monday morning. Only one gentleman was working the desk, and urgency isn't his strong suit to say the least. Although the steady trickle of people coming in wasn't what I would call busy, the line stacked up. The office worker would go into the back between customers and you could hear him (loudly) making small talk with other employees. He walked slowly, stamped slowly, talked slowly... maybe its just the southern pace, but for us standing in line trying to get an unpleasant errand done it was irritating. Giving 3 stars because when it finally was my turn the worker answered all my questions and was friendly.
