I moved to 33712 (St. Pete) earlier this year. I must say that the postal service here in St. Pete is the absolutely worst I have experienced anywhere in the USA (and I have lived in every part of the USA except New England). Worst, there is no way to contact the USPS by phone if there is a problem -- their robo-system sends one in circles. The one human I finally reached after 15 minutes put me back into the robo-system and did not even try to answer my question. There is no way to give robo-feedback either, since one must complete a call to do that, and the calls never complete -- they simple go in circles.... Deserves zero stars, but that is not an option.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Manager is so rude and a complete b_tch. I was told to wait for her to help with a problem I had. She was on the phone at the time on a personal call. I was standing right next to her while patiently waiting for her to finish. She saw me standing there, but took her sweet time in helping me. I timed my wait, and it was 15 minutes before she acknowledged me. I then looked at the time log on the phone she was using, and her personal call lasted a total of 45 minutes. There is also limited parking downtown, and there are always postal trucks parked in 3 or 4 of the 5 or 6 spaces reserved for customers. Those spaces also have a 15 minute time limit on them, but the post office trucks are there for hours sometimes. I know they have a job to do, and they have to load the trucks so they can deliver the mail to us, but they also need to use their space allotted for their trucks. Very poor!

Best post office in St. Petersburg. Very friendly employees that are so patient with customers, but also very efficient in getting people in and out who are ready to go. Large lobby doesn't feel cramped and a lot of services offered.
