Words cannot express how helpful Krystal was in applying for my passport! She is extremely efficient in the passport process and with her attention to detail she noticed that another Post Office location had given me expired forms to fill out only a couple of days prior. My interaction/experience at several other locations was very unfavorable as I was run all over the city to places that supposedly accepted walk-ins but did not. In my frustration I called to the Lee's Summit location at which point, despite Krystal's full schedule, she was able to work me in within a day. I live north of the river so the location is not convenient for me but I highly recommend this location based on my experience with Krystal!

Tonu Laulu is my life saver. I had been trying to locate a very important mail for 7 weeks through USPS and only experienced indifferent, rude agents who gave me inconsistent messages about my mail. Nobody cared and then I talked to him and he couldn't care more. He actually intercepted my mail and offered to mail it to me via express mail. What an angel. I am so lucky that he was on the phone when I called. I was totally upset with the USPS system and he made everything fine. Thank you!!!

Just like the rest.....sub carrier marked my packages as undeliverable siting the office was closed without ever checking. In this case, the office was open. Constant issues with these people. Incompetent at best.

Went to the post office in Lees Summit to apply for passports. The woman that helped us was extremely rude and didn't know what she was doing. She said that we couldn't apply because I didn't have proof of my name change. She said my social security card, marriage certificate, and driver's lisence weren't enough. She asked me if I had an employees ID, as if that was more valid proof than all of the government documents we had brought. We left frustrated and went to the Kansas City Library instead. They were efficient and needed nothing more than by driver's license. I received my passport 2 weeks later. Save your time, don't go here for a passport!
