I'm awaiting a packed that was suppose to delivered today that I needed for tonight and instead of reading the sign on the front door of a 3 story building saying "I live on the 3rd floor, can't hear you knocking down hear come around back to the deliver package" who ever it was just was a lazy person and didn't want to bring the package up to my apartment. Ive been waiting all day for this to come in, It's cool I'll just be upset because who ever delivered mail on the day of Feb 4th 2018 to the area of 64111 is a total prick by leaving a notice saying package wasn't delivered when delivery instructions were provided,  I needed that and was guaranteed I'd have it today. Thanks...

DHL tracked my package and told me it was at the Westport Post Office so I called to make sure it was there before driving over. I spoke with a woman who was beyond rude and unprofessional. The first time I called I was put on hold as I was talking. I hung up and called back and she answered immediately and her reasoning was that she had other customers to tend to. I gave her the tracking number and she immediately said my package was returned to sender without even checking with my tracking number. So I called back and asked to speak with someone else after I realized that DHL told me that my package was there and then the other person that helped me found my package immediately and was very kind and patient with me. He also explained that the sender, a man from India, forgot to add my apartment number to the package and that's why it hadn't been delivered. Long story short, to the woman who I first spoke to, you work in customer service. If I talked to and treated people the way you did me, I wouldn't have a job.

This place is a nightmare. My carrier regularly  gives me mail meant for other people (totally different addresses) and can't deliver a package on time to save his life. There's currently a package somewhere in limbo that they "attempted" to deliver and left a notice. There is no notice anywhere, so I have no idea what my next step is. I've had four packages caught up in this cycle of incompetence in the last two months. I know now that there is no point in paying for expedited shipping because this office will add a week to the delivery time. No point in calling the local office - they won't answer. No point in calling the 1-800 number - they'll give you the number to the local office that nobody answers. No point in going down to the office and waiting in line - they aren't at all invested in whether or not you get your mail and you'll waste an hour of your time. Developing countries have better mail service than this.

Westport US Post office is the only mail/package delivery in this area that consistently delivers our mail and packages correctly. Fed ex delivered our packages from Amazon to the avenue address instead of our street and Westport US Post office saw our packages sitting at the wrong house and delivered them to our home more than once.
After fighting with FedEx, which did nothing to resolve this issue, we contacted Amazon and now all deliveries to our home go through US postal service.
Problem resolved.
