Called twice and on both occasions received message that hold time to speak to an agent was over an hour. Is there any business other than a government agency that can perform at this level and stay in business? Absolutely not. Very unfortunate.

Yesterday I received a lock box key in my mailbox for a package. They key was completely broken off. The rest of they key was still in the lock box below. When I called the post office to see if they could send someone to fix it or to get out my package, the gentleman I spoke to suggested I was lying, because "why would a mailman leave a broken key?" (ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!) He was no help and said he would "Talk to the mailman tomorrow." After trying to figure out what to do, to get out my package, I pushed on the opposite side of the lock and the door opened up without any hesitation. The key was clearly broken, and the mailman who took it out (of the lock box before putting in my package) would have to have known it was broken, because he is the one who put my package in there, and left the key in my mailbox!! Then, about a month ago, I received a package that was being held at the post office for me to come in and pay the postage - when I went in and asked for my package the gentleman would walk around and shrug his shoulders, and would tell me to come back a different day. After going in 3 different times, finally the gentleman behind him, (after being told my package wasn't there and to come back a different time AGAIN) asked what my name was, walked straight back and grabbed it without hesitation and gave it to me.

This office is a joke! They've lost packages I dropped off at their office, they've lost packages that were supposed to be delivered to me, they've put my packages in the wrong mailbox fully admitting to doing so and do you think they take any responsibility for their careless, unacceptable mistakes?? Absolutely not! How hard is it to put a package in the correct mailbox??? The numbers are right on front of your face! How hard is it to scan a package and put it in the correct bin to be shipped out? I just lost $250 because a package I dropped off a week and a half ago still says Pre-shipment. It was shipped Priority 2day. It should have loooong since been delivered. They can't offer me any help. They fully refuse to help. Even when the manager said no packages leave their office without being scanned. Well, it wasn't ever scanned and we are now heading into two weeks and it still hasn't scanned in anywhere so clearly they lost it. Clearly someone there isn't doing their job properly and it's their job to correct this issue. I certainly can't do anything. I left the package with them trusting they'd do their job correctly and they didn't. Short of hopping the counter and looking for it myself until the police get there to arrest me there's nothing I can do. And believe me I've thought about doing that. They're so arrogant and disrespectful down there! These people need a lesson on customer service or a whole new crew who know how to do their damn jobs! I'm not out $250 because of their "mistake" and that's just this time. I've lost over $600 all together in the past two years alone because of these fools!

This is the worst post office in Boise. I will drive further just to avoid going inside this location. The older lady with long hair is the most rude person I have ever met. This place needs an employee reboot.

I sent documents through USPS priority express mailing to Djibouti from this office and it's been 14 days they haven't arrived. USPS guy at the office told me they will be there in less than 5 days!!! These documents are essential and if they don't get their before the 16th of May I will loose an appointment I've been waiting for 1 year and 1/2. I called the office and they said they don't know where it is!!! I paid $70 box and that's now how it suppose to be. I don't care about they money I want my damn document to be there. They don't even know if they have office in Djibouti, I'm not sure they do either but the least they could have told me they don't have office their. I really don't know what to do now and have no idea where my documents are! Last tracking was in San Francisco on the 11th. Please please if you can help let me know. And for those sending documents international, do yourself a favor and use FedEx or DHL. USPS is only good in the US, at least that's my experience.
