I understand that it’s the holiday season and that means USPS is very busy, putting a lot of stress on employees. That being said, I don’t think it excuses them from simple courtesies. I went in to ship an item I’d sold online and realized I needed to pay a little additional postage. Rather than inconveniencing the buyer, I requested to just pay the additional postage at this location (something I’ve done previously at other USPS locations). You would have thought I asked to move the moon. I fully admitted that it was my fault for not requesting enough postage from the buyer and I apologized for the inconvenience. The first gentleman (he was friendly) I talked to attempted to help me but he seemed to be in training so he asked for help. The next guy hardly listened to my question before saying “we can’t do that. I’ll get our lead.” The lady that is the shift lead on Monday’s is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Not only did she not even try to help me, she informed me I needed to completely redo my online transaction. Given that I personally take pride in providing good customer service I was not about to do what she was asking and go back to the buyer for additional payment. I then offered to just pay for a whole new shipping label. She said that was fine but I needed to redo the packaging. Given that a small flat rate box would be my cheapest option, I walked over and repackaged my item. When I returned to the counter she rudely exclaimed that she couldn’t accept it because there was an ever so slight bump, due to the shape of the item I was shipping (you had to look very closely to even tell). At this point I was fuming with frustration and annoyance (I’m normally very patient with people that work in customer service jobs). I had been at the post office for one hour and had yet to ship anything. Not to mention I was 30 minutes late to work. Instead of dealing with the ridiculous lady a third time I finally just shipped my package (after repackaging a second time) from the automated service center. I will no longer use this location as I believe that at least two of the employees have a complete disregard for customer needs and lack basic manners. Unfortunately, since it’s a government entity my rant of a post will unlikely resolve these issues. I just hope it deters others from having to endure a similar experience. Go to another location! Or better yet, use UPS or Fedex when possible.

Maybe try answering the phone!!!!! Have 2 packages supposedly sitting there and they won’t answer the phone. Only one location ever does and it’s not this one! What do they do all day if they aren’t doing there jobs?!?

By far the most atrocious post office experience of my entire life. The woman behind the desk was immediately defensive and aggressive, rolling her eyes at me publicly, at my request to ship my university parcels. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she refused and then later brought him in. He was both useless to diffuse the situation and unable to answer simple shipping questions. I have never left an establishment that distressed me to the point of tears.

We have the best mail carriers delivering to our office! They are always very friendly, funny, upbeat, professional and a pleasure to see every day! I just want to acknowledge the hard work they do with a smile. Thank you!

They don't even answer the phone at this branch! I've called 10 times and the phone just rings endlessly! No voice mail, no automated message? Their phone system must be from the 1950s.. Why does the USPS even exist anymore? What a worthless, lazy and inefficiently run government entity. I will not order any products from companies who use USPS to ship!
