I have lived here for nearly two decades and find the mail man who has been servicing my building all these years very pleasant, helpful and reliable. However, I can not say the same for this Post office on S Glebe Rd. I am not sure what exactly happens there once the packages arrive??? All I know is that packages that were picked up from me were being post-marked four days later and sitting around for 7 days before they actually left their office for their destination. I spoke with the branch manager a couple of times but was surprised at the 0 level of accountability and poor customer service. He kept going around my questions not really addressing the issue and would not even take the time to look up the tracking information for the packages. Very unreliable and disappointing.

Sometimes I have to go to this post office when their mailmen don't feel like delivering a package. They're kind of slow, but at least they didn't give me any trouble.

Phenomenal. I don't go to the post office often- for fear of long lines and high costs. The chips were stacked against me; it was Friday afternoon and I held parcels with international customs fees. I reluctantly walked in and to my surprise I was first in line- warmly greeted with a smiling face. I did not catch her name but she was clerk 10 on my receipt. Without my prompting, she went out of her way to look up alternative lower costs. She even gave me the option to remove a few ounces from my package to significantly cut down the cost. I left with complete satisfaction and holding a sleeve of Wonder Woman stamps. It was a win-win!
