The worst. Totally unreliable. My experience matches that of Monique below. The office and the delivery person made false statements concerning a package that was to be delivered. They said that they attempted to deliver a package but were unable to contact anyone and left a note. I was home all day and never received a knock on my door, nor did I receive any note. If I am unable to receive my package, I intend to write to my Congressman and Senator.

Trying to reach this PO is useless and a waste of time. Why give them a phone if they never answer or take it off the hook so it's busy. Only place I get a busy signal anymore! I can reach the White House easier than the post office.

Terrible customer services. No one can answer a simple question. Multiple employees just dismiss customers from the line when they asked a question. And when customers asked to speak with a manage they were told "this issue does not concern the manager". This place is a joke.

Had a great experience there when mailing my wedding invitations. I called ahead to find out if they had specific Forever stamps, and the lady took the time to go back to their vault and pull out the last sheets for me. When I arrived at the Post Office, they were patient and courteous (the women helping me said congrats, and asked me about my wedding) while letting me decide how many stamps I would need, and which kinds I wanted. Finally, they let me hand cancel all my wedding invitations, which gave them a personalized, custom look. When I tried to hand cancel a few more wedding invites later at a DC Post Office on Pennsylvania Ave, they flatly refused, and said I could only drop them in the box. They wouldn't even accept them over the counter, and brushed me off immediately. I'm going out of my way to return to the Alexandria Post Office on Wythe.

Great service, with multiple clerks working. They had one doing all the simple fast transactions (keeping the line short) and the other three doing anything else. I had two letters that had to go certified mail, with return receipt, and my clerk was friendly and knowledgeable about what I needed to fill out etc.
