I delivered my second child here. The nurses were so hospitable, loving, and caring to me. My doctor deserves an award with his wonderful bedside manner, attention to detail, and his compassionate personality (Dr. Kyle Citty). I hate that they are short staffed and can’t schedule these nurses the hours they need (and deserve) just to fit their own budget. Because of that, I never saw my newborn baby. She was constantly being wheeled away to get tests, vaccinations, vitals, etc. It severely affected me. With my first child, she was never taken from me (she was born in a different hospital) When they did have to take her away, they allowed me to accompany her. That wasn’t the case with my second baby. By the time we went home 2 days later, I was taking home a stranger. This cannot continue to happen. Unity needs to get with 2018. Baby nurseries are ancient. Baby and mother bonding is SO important and needs to be their top priority for this department. If they would just give their nurses more hours, they would have the staff needed to provide that for their patients. But until then, if bonding with your baby is important to you, don’t have your child here. Not until they fix this.

I’ve had both of my daughters here. The staff was caring, attentive & knowledgeable. I love all the nurses & they loved my babies like they were family. Doctor Kyle Citty was wonderful!  My only complaint is the billing department are difficult to deal with. They always get my insurance information mixed up.
I highly recommend this hospital!!

It took some time but after all, everybody was so polite,  caring, no words. Even got a free cola from a nurse, very nice of her.

My mom cam here with severe pain in her stomach Dr shewood said it was a uti and sent her home 3 to 3 day later we were back up there she had emergency surgery during which her appendix bust making them have to change the type of surgery they opened her up and a few days later sent her home with a large gapping whole in her stomach that took about 7 months to heal. If on her first visit they did there job Rather than act like she's a drug seeker this wouldn't have happen. I'm here now pretty sure with a blood clot but been waiting about and 1 and 20 Mins and have no wrist band.

It was disgusting the staff was rude there was piss on the walls of my room they put me in there was blood on the floor the pneumonia in the room was so bad I almost passed out. Worst hospital I have ever been too.
