Owner saw my car and told me he would have an estimate in 24 hours. After a week, no estimate. After another week, was told it was sent to the wrong email. I gave him my email again but still nothing! I finally asked for the estimate over the phone and was told it could be $400 dollars more after the work was completed. Was also told my car was just lifted from the parking lot for a quick look. Three weeks for a quick look! Declined the work, gave me 48 hours to move my car from the lot and then overcharged for the estimate. Customer service was terrible.

-Additional charges -Installed bad valve stems -New tire blew in a couple months after purchase If you need a significant repair DO NOT go here! The owner seems like a very nice guy when on the phone and talking to him on person, but he doesn some shady stuff as a mechanic. First I would like to take the time to give you guys a little background on why I had to go to this place. I blew a tire a day ago and was looking on purchasing 4 new tires because I had winter tires on my car in march and no one had any winter tires in stock (that's fine it was a mild winter). I asked him for a quote on 4 new tires, he gave me a price (~$450) and told me to bring the car on over asap so he can get it done before the weekend. I drove my car over and dropped off my keys. At this point everything was falling into place and running smoothly. I returned to the shop an hour before the shop's closing time (5pm on a Friday). I walked into his office and was ready to pay around the quoted price that he told me earlier that day on the phone, which was ~$500 (4 tires at $108 each plus $15/tire for installation). Right before he has you swipe your card you finally find out the total price, which came out to be ~$620. This is because he tacked on a $100 labor charge for grinding my corroded rims down and a mystery $15 fee. I knew my rims were corroding on the outside and had no idea what the insides between the rim and the tire looked like. My visual inspection showed that the outsides weren't touched at all. No scratches from a grinder or nothing. So they could have done that job or just made it up because I would never know without taking the tire off again. I paid the bill in hoping that they were telling me the truth. Fast -forwarding 3 months, I have been losing tire pressure in one of the tires. Like 3 psi a day, meaning my tire would always go flat after 3 days of rest. Unfortately I was back home (3 hours away) and had a local mechanic find out that they put in all bad valve stems in my tires. They also didn't grind my rims! Also, the balancing weights were put on incorrectly giving me virbation at higher speeds. Another 2 months have past and I had another tire that blew. i just bought this tire and put maybe 3,000 miles on it with highway driving and drove on roads with barely any potholes. Would not reccomend!

Good service, but wasn't told prices until after the job was done. Would rather be told the prices before hand

Randy seems to be straight up, honest and his opinion and quality of work extremely reliable. It is refreshing to come across a mechanic nowadays with his integrity. I would definitely recommend University Auto to anyone.

Charged me over $600 for wheel bearing replacement and simply did not do the job. I had to have it replaced again and driving on a bad wheel bearing is a dangerous situation that can get the driver killed.
