Over the past 20 years we have expanded into SIX locations in Charlottesville, Orange, and Ruckersville. At every University Tire & Auto Center location, we offer a full line of competitively priced tires from the industry’s leading brands, like MICHELIN®, BFGoodrich®, and Uniroyal®. Our ASE-certified technicians are trained to accurately diagnose and repair automotive issues while providing you with honest customer service. Bought 4 Yokohama Avid Touring S tires for my Honda Pilot here in 2013. 35,000 miles later and they're almost bald (below 2/32"). Yokohama wouldn't honor its 65,000 mile warranty on the tires even though I have the receipt and rotation log and the tread has worn evenly on all 4 tires. University Tire provided good service in 2013 but their promise about the Yokohama tires having a warranty turned out to be false-Yokohama made a liar out of them--2 stars for not warning me in advance that Yokohama would concoct any bogus reason they might think of to deny my warranty claim.

Most of our visits here have been exceptional. They always forget to reset the check engine light, but that's not really a big deal. The worst was when we had them conduct a state-mandated inspection. Our floodlights were cracked and they said we'd have to wait if we wanted them replaced. So in order to pass inspection, they offered to remove them. They didn't tell us it'd cost $200 to just take out some stupid lights.

Jesse is are mechanic at university tire are he is very skilled and we trust him completely with are fleet of vehicles. Todd handles everything else for us and he is excellent. I definitely recommend this company!

I have used this shop for years with mostly good results, but as of today my car has been sitting there for three days without it even being looked at, and they don't even call with an update (I call them, get a promise it will be looked at next, then learn 12 hrs later that still, nothing has happened.) I am going to move it across the road to Airport Auto. It is almost not drivable, but this lack of service and communication is unacceptable.

Seemed like a good crew over there. Had to get a set of rear rotors and brake pads installed, but Johnny was very straight forward and very price conscientious when he talked to me. I would feel comfortable using them again for work. Traditionally I would have gone to Airport Auto, but University Tire & Auto had better prices and I didn't feel like I was being rushed to make decisions like I am across the street. I am happy I chose to go with them and though I don't look forward to shelling out more money they seemed honest and would trust them.
