My LLC purchased a condo at The Adamo in Adams Morgan as an investment property.  I am very happy with the home and Steve Swank, Urban Pace's Senior Sales Manager, was able to help me rent it in days! While the delivery of the building was delayed, Steve kept me updated and well informed throughout the process.  Given this was my first home purchase in D.C, Steve was very prompt in his responses and very knowledgeable about the D.C. sales and rental market.

As a top producing Realtor I can vouch for Urban Pace and specifically Alex Edwards and Kate Hanley. We work in a business that may appear simple and uncomplicated to the untrained eye. Working with buyers and sellers can be extremely complicated, and it is the people in these deals that make them work. Working with Alex Edwards and Kate Hanley was a team effort that resulted in our respective clients satisfaction. Alex and Kate represented their client extremely well while also respecting my clients wishes and needs. In my opinion they went above and beyond what I have encountered with other Real Estate Agents in their representation of new construction. I would gladly do business with them again.

I recently purchased a Condo from Steve Swank with Urban Pace.  Steve was an excellent sales manager.   I form out of the DC area and needed an agent that could work with my schedule and not being in DC. Steve was able to work with my schedule and support me from me from afar. He listened to what my needs were and had many great recommendations.  Steve knows the DC market and was able to find several condos that met my needs.  I thought I knew the DC market and after working with Steve learned there was much more to know.  Steve is a great listener and communicator.  Steve was alway prepared and on time.  Steve made my buying experience very positive.  Steve and Urban Pace - thank you for making my buying experience so positive.  Steve really knows the DC market and a pleasure to work with.  I recommend Steve Swank and Urban Pace to anyone looking to purchase property in DC and the DC metro area.

My partner and I contracted to buy a unit at the Lumen several months ago.  Since then, they have given misleading and contradictory information about the status of code violations preventing occupancy.   Their representative doesn't seem to have the information herself, which speaks to a deeper problem at this company and the developers they work with. 

Several weeks ago, we moved my belongings in to the unit,  and were told the C of O was imminent.    It was not.  My girlfriend and i are sleeping on a mattress in an empty apartment.     This has cost us thousands of dollars and no small amount of stress leading to actual illness.

The number of times we have been told "any day" or even "definitely tomorrow" is laughable.

Urban Pace is totally unreliable. I worked with them when I was looking for a condo and they gave me misleading information about the property, timeline, and DC zoning regulations. Once they secured the payment of the deposit for the purchase, problems started arising and they immediately stopped communicating, ignoring both emails and phone calls. Terrible customer service and total lack of responsiveness. I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy.
