I've never had such a problem with the post office until this one. They made it almost impossible to pick an Amazon package. It was just a toy for a Christmas present that they were suppose to deliver to my apartment. They always deliver them to our office. The office was closed that day so they weren't able to deliver it there. Usually its just a matter of them bringing it back the next day but this post person decided that I need to  sign for this package. All my other Amazon packages I have ordered I have never had to sign for them. I signed the card and gave it to our office to give to the post person. They would not deliver it. They made us come to the post office to get it. I have never had such a problem in my life and every one else in our complex had there packages from amazon delivered to the office with no problem, so why was this one different. I had to work so I gave the signed card to my mother to pick it up. They would not give it to her. They told her they needed to see my id to pick it up.   While she was waiting for the picture of my id they closed her out again and told her to wait  outside. She a little  old lady. So that wasn't very nice for her either.  So I texted a pic of my id to my mother  to show them , so she knocked again to be let in. This happened all during normal hours mind you. Also, I stayed on the  line telling them it was OK to give her the box. They said that they couldn't give it to her because it because it had our old address on it. My mother had to argue with them more to give it to her. She said that why could we use our IDs here to vote here in Milwaukee, then they should be able to give us the package. They finally gave it to her. They said that the whole reason for them being so difficult was because they didn't want it to be stolen. Which is such a crock. Why in the world would a person go to through that much trouble to steal a package. I couldn't believe how rude  they were. And they wonder why people want to go to privatized postal service maybe this wouldn't happen then. Try to avoid this post office at all cost. Rude employees and extremely bad customer service. If they are willing to be mean and rude to a little old lady imagine how they treat everyone else. If I could give then zero stars I would.

If your having a bad day you want to avoid this post office. I've never met ruder people. I'm not sure why they are so hostile. But they can ruin a perfectly good day. They never have anything positive to say. The last time I was there on a Saturday the woman retrieving the mail yelled at me. I informed her that I would file a complaint.
I encourage everyone who has a negative experience with this post office to file a complaint. If enough complaints come through they will be forced to start treating the public with respect.

Absolute garbage carriers. I have now missed at least 2 days of mail. The carrier also delivered my package to the wrong address. When I called the office to recover the package, they did not return my call nor did they resolve the issue. 

So, if you enjoy lost mail and packages, please feel free to use this branch.
