The place is fine. Very nice people. But...... I don't know where they come up with the carriers... I seem to keep getting my neighbor's mail..so -1 star for the carrier. Also, the automated phone system is TERRIBLE!

. Phone is always busy.  Please find a solution to this issue.
Had a issue with a rural carrier would leave packages at the bottom of stairs requested that she deliver by the door at the top of the stairs. I'm disabled so going down the stairs to
Retrieve package is not possible.
Had a order from Amazon today and received a notice from Amazon that USPS attempted delivery and we would have to have it re-delivered or pick up at post office. I'm at home all day every day and no one attempted delivery of anything and why didn't the carrier leave it the front door, UPS does, FedEx does, this carrier use to leave at bottom of stairs but after complaint is going to make it difficult.  This package contains herbal pills for our dog and has been delivered to our mailbox before..we need these pills today

I have NEVER gone to Athens post office and the people were not friendly and helpful. Yeah you may have to stand in line for a little bit certain times of the day, but, that is the post in most cities. They only allow ***** if I could I'd give more.
